Business Development Manager

About the Role

ATF World is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in our Virtual Assistant and AI Integration service lines. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the AEC industry, building relationships with key decision-makers at architecture firms, engineering consultancies, and general contractors. This is a client-facing role that requires a deep understanding of the construction industry and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy targeting AEC firms of all sizes
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Lead discovery calls and needs assessments with prospective clients
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop tailored proposals and pricing
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in CRM (HubSpot)
  • Represent ATF World at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
  • Develop thought leadership content that positions ATF World as a leader in AEC innovation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in the AEC industry
  • Established network of relationships within architecture, engineering, or construction firms
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25%)

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree or MBA
  • Experience selling technology services (SaaS, AI, automation) to AEC clients
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other enterprise CRM platforms
  • Active involvement in AEC industry associations (AIA, AGC, SAME)

Compensation Range

$75,000 - $100,000 base + commission
